After earning a wrestling scholarship to Miami University, Dr. Banker became both a nationally ranked athlete and a standout scholar. He earned his M.D. from the Medical College of Ohio, then built a 25+ year career as an interventional radiologist, serving as Chief of Interventional Radiology at major medical centers. He pioneered life‑saving programs – including Y‑90 radioembolization for liver cancer – and was the first physician to bring that treatment to Northwest Ohio.
